1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of My Summer Challenge ("the program," "we," "us," or "our"), operated at mysummerchallenge.com. By accessing the website, joining the waitlist, creating an account, or purchasing any plan, you ("the parent," "guardian," or "user") agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the program or purchase a plan.

2. The Program

My Summer Challenge is a web-based summer activity and personal development program designed for children ages 10–15. The program consists of two core components:

• Mind: Eight weekly themes delivered as short readings and journal prompts, written directly to the child.
• Motion: A library of 300+ real-world activities across four categories (Friendlys, Creativities, Adventures, and Fitness), a live point system, and milestone badges.

The program is accessed through a parent-managed account at mysummerchallenge.com. All content is delivered digitally. There is no physical product shipped.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

Parent or Guardian Requirement

All accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years of age. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any children in your household using the program.

Age Range

The program is designed for children ages 10–15. Parents of children outside this age range may still register, but the content is specifically written and curated with this age group in mind.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at hello@mysummerchallenge.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Family Plan Definition

The Family plan covers all children residing in a single household. It does not extend to children from other households, extended family members living elsewhere, neighbors, or friends. One Family plan per household.

4. Pricing and Plans

Available Plans

• Free: Access to Theme 1 (Who I Am) and one Party Theme only. No credit card required. Available on an ongoing basis with no time limit.
• Single Child: Full access to all 8 weekly themes and the complete activity library for one child. Access runs through September 30th of the program year.
• Family: Full access for all children in a single household. Access runs through September 30th of the program year.

Early Bird Pricing

Early bird pricing ($29 Single Child / $47 Family) is available to waitlist members prior to June 7th launch. After June 7th, standard pricing applies ($39 Single Child / $57 Family). Early bird pricing is non-transferable and cannot be applied retroactively.

Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your credit card information. All prices are in US dollars.

Waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free and requires no payment. Waitlist members receive a $10 promo code by email on or around June 7th. The promo code is valid for one use per household and expires 30 days after issuance.

5. Refund Policy

To request a refund, email hello@mysummerchallenge.com within 7 days of your purchase date with the subject line "Refund Request" and the email address used to purchase. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Refund requests received after 7 days from the date of purchase will not be honored, as full access to all program content has been provided.

The Free plan has no payment associated with it and is therefore not subject to this refund policy.

6. Access and Delivery

Program Availability

Paid program access begins on or after June 7th and runs through September 30th of the program year. Access is not available before June 7th, regardless of purchase date. The Free plan (Theme 1) is available on or after June 7th as well.

Your Own Schedule

There is no fixed start date or mandatory schedule within the program. Once access is open, you may begin at any time and progress through themes at your own pace. Themes do not expire mid-summer — all 8 themes remain available through September 30th.

Internet Access Required

The program is delivered entirely online. A device with internet access is required. We are not responsible for any inability to access the program due to internet connectivity issues, device limitations, or third-party outages outside our control.

Service Interruptions

We make reasonable efforts to keep the program available and functioning. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for unplanned downtime but will work promptly to restore access.

7. Program Content

Content Standards

All program content — readings, journal prompts, and activities — is written for children ages 10–15. We are committed to keeping all Mind content positive, non-political, and free from controversial subject matter. Content focuses on identity, personal growth, courage, friendship, and contribution.

Content Updates

We reserve the right to update, revise, or improve program content at any time. We may add activities, adjust point values, or refine weekly theme materials without prior notice. Any changes will maintain the spirit and quality of the original program.

No Guarantees of Outcome

My Summer Challenge is a personal development and activity program. We do not guarantee any specific academic, physical, behavioral, or emotional outcomes for any child. Results depend on individual participation and engagement.

8. Acceptable Use

By using My Summer Challenge, you agree not to:

• Share your account login credentials with individuals outside your household
• Attempt to access features or content beyond your purchased plan
• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell any program content without written permission
• Use the program or website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the website or its systems

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without refund where violations are confirmed.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on mysummerchallenge.com — including but not limited to program text, theme content, activity descriptions, graphics, logos, design, and code — is the intellectual property of My Summer Challenge and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Your purchase of a plan grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the program content for your family's private, non-commercial use during the program period. No other rights are granted.

The program content, including the Mind themes, is adapted from original published work. Reproduction or distribution of any program content without written permission is strictly prohibited.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

As-Is Basis

My Summer Challenge is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the program's fitness for any particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

Physical Activity

Some program activities involve physical movement and outdoor participation. Parents and guardians are responsible for assessing whether any activity is appropriate for their child's age, health, fitness level, and circumstances. My Summer Challenge is not liable for any injury, illness, or harm arising from participation in any program activity.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Summer Challenge's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the program shall not exceed the amount you paid for your plan. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. If we make material changes that affect purchased plans, we will notify registered users by email before those changes take effect.

Continued use of the program after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
